Presidential Garden
The President plants an annual garden. The vegetables are canned and frozen to be enjoyed during the winter months.
2025 Pasture Renewal
The President decided that the pastures needed to be redone for many reasons. In August 2025, the First Son, Sterling Crowder, killed one pasture that was approximately 1 acre in size. In September, the First Son used a rotor tiller on the skid steer to till the land. The dead grass was accumulated with a rake and removed. The next step was to use a land leveler to smooth out the land. The final two steps was to fertilize and overseed the land. 12 watering T-Posts were setup to keep the ground very moist for 2 weeks. The President will replace the other 3 pastures over the next 3 years.
2025 Presidential Victory Garden
The President had an another very successful Victory Garden in 2025. The focus was on tomatoes, green beans and yellow squash. The President planted several types of peppers, and for the first time, the President planted sweet potatoes and asparagus. Neither of the newbies have produced yet, but there is still time. In the fall, the President will plant various types of greens - collards, mustard, turnip etc. The President will eat some of them, and the First Lady will give the majority to the Presidential Chickens.
